This unit was the first one we worked on. What are Boom Trucks?

Boom Trucks 

• Also known as Cargo Crane Trucks 
• These are special equipment vehicles that are used to lift heavy items and transport them from one place to another 
• These vehicles range from small trucks used by power companies, to larger industrial applications

This is one of the units we have on hand in our yard.
The 19 ton boom truck with 15 tons crane lifting capacity. 

The cargo body (the white truck body) is where the items are loaded. This truck can load items of up to 19,000 kg. or 19 tons. 

The boom crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 15 tons, which means it can lift an item that is as heavy as 15,000 kg. 

The reason why the boom crane is attached to the dropside cargo body is for the heavy items that were lifted by the crane to be transported to another location without the hassle of having another truck do the work. 

Boom Trucks are more efficient than Cranes because of the following reasons: 

1. You do not need a low bed trailer to transport the crane from one location to another
2. You do not need another truck to transport the lifted materials from one location to another 
3. It is convenient to have because you can use it in different construction sites or projects

Daewoo Tractor Head

This is a 10 wheeler Daewoo tractor head from Korea. 

                

• Our tractor heads are powered by the Doosan DV15 420hp 8 Cylinder Diesel Engine
• Their wheels are Double Differential, Double I-Beam, and the tires are all imported from South Korea.
